The Brief

BWI Group was introduced to the owner of a block of residential apartments. The client had developed the apartments with the aim of divesting them over a 3 to 4 year period. Unfortunately the apartments failed to move at the required rate and the project went into receivership. The owner needed a way to resurrect the sale strategy in order to realise the full value of the asset.

The Response

BWI Group introduced the client to a new financier who was able to restructure his debt and design a financial solution to revive the project. BWI Group then developed a new sales and marketing plan to reposition the asset and sell down the remaining apartments within 12 months.

The Outcome

BWI Group is currently executing the new marketing plan and sales are tracking to forecast. They’re on target to achieve full sell down within the agreed time frame and deliver returns to the financier and client.
